Scheduled Tasks and Completing Tasks

If you want to view the scheduled tasks to reassign jobs, configure and print your route or complete tasks this is done by clicking Tasks in the left menu and selecting the day you wish to view.



View by Driver

This allows you to see if one or more drivers have been assigned tasks in the same area as well as the total amount of tasks assigned to a driver to help you better manage task and area assignments.

View by Driver comes in two varieties depending on whether you have Group Tasks by Job setting enabled.

Both varieties allow you to quickly assign all tasks in an area to a single driver if the area is split between multiple drivers.


Actions Menu

The action menu lets you perform operations against tasks in bulk. The current options are to reassign a task, change the task date and reassign a task, and complete a task.

Complete a task comes in two varieties depending on whether you have Group Tasks by Job setting enabled.


Total number of selected tasks

This section highlights the total number of tasks selected over all table pages.


Assign to User and Date

This action allows you to assign the selected tasks to a driver or day. The checkbox must be checked for the date to be assigned even if a date was previously selected.


Complete Task with Status Completed (Group Tasks by Job Disabled)

This allows a quick way to mark selected tasks as completed without using the complete tasks view. The option to add a note to the completed tasks is possible by checking the Add Note checkbox and entering a message. The checkbox must be checked for the note to be sent even if a note was previously entered.


Complete Task with Status Completed (Group Tasks by Job Enabled)

This allows you to complete the tasks associated with a Job and unlike Complete Task with Status Completed (Group Tasks by Job Disabled) it does use the complete tasks view. The complete button respects the selections made in the table which showing you the tasks available to complete and because this is the full complete view you can raise issues to agents and mark tasks complete. Clicking this button without any Jobs selected returns all Tasks.


Options Menu

The options menu provides tool to speed up your task selection for bulk actions.

Using the options available to you it is possible to create complex selections for your operations.


Select By Area

Select Area will select any tasks or jobs which fall within the selected area.


Select By Segment

Select Postcode Segment will select any tasks or jobs which match the postcode segment selected.


Select/Deselect All

  • Select All will select all tasks for the day
  • Deselect All will deselect all selected tasks


Select/Deselect Visible

Visible selects can be used with table searches to build complex selections.

  • Select Visible will select any tasks currently visible to you in the tasks table.
  • Deselect Visible will deselect any tasks currently visible to you in the tasks table.


Complete Tasks

Once your tasks have been completed successfully you can select your jobs (using the individual tick boxes or other selection tools mentioned above) and click Complete Tasks.

If however you've encountered problems or need to feedback information to your agents you'll need to use the Complete Tasks Menu button (This button has been replaced by the Complete action when Group Tasks by Job is enabled, as described in Complete Task with Status Completed (Group Tasks by Job Enabled)).

The Complete Tasks Menu button opens the Mark Tasks Complete View which allows you to select the Completion Status for each task, add any notes as well as reschedule the task if you were unable to complete it successfully.

How do I reschedule an incomplete task?

To enable the Reschedule checkbox you must change the completion status of the task to an Issue status then the checkbox will be checked by default. If you do not want to reschedule the task, simply uncheck the checkbox.

If you change the status back to complete the checkbox will be automatically deselected and disabled
